Whew! Got mine in. :shocked:

Geez, last minute changes and then compression.

I hope you guys enjoy it. Need to collaborate more. So much work for 1 person...
 
When's the upload cutoff time? I'm desperately trying to upload and so much I'm trying through my phone. I won't have a good connection until I get home in an hour. UGH.
 
i simply could not get my film under 100 megs for some reason (720 x 306 at 6 minutes), so i cut the quality way down to 65 megs, just to make the deadline. oh well. my film aint pretty anyways! happy to be a part of this with you all. oh and i uploaded at 3:57.
 
and thats why you submit the night before. I wont let myself go to bed until i've submitted, which was 3:30am last night. If you care enough, you lose sleep

Well well well ... I was hoping I'd see this happen (not the trouble, but you entering). Welcome!
 
I always wonder, how comes that people do things the very very very last minute... Which is mostly also the time that PC crashes, programs freezes, electricity fells out and stuff like that....
 
In ENG environment (news) they sometimes do what's called a "live start". Just directly from final cut or avid or other press "play" (spacebar) while still in the "edit mode"...

But that's rarely... although it happens...

But I don't think that would count here ? :p
 
ah ok...because 4pm pacific = 00 gmt it says....and I live at +2GMT.... I think it's because of the "DST"....

Bad Pumpkin is being a rotten little terd. Still compressing for the last 2 hours. I've never gone beyond 45 min before. I'm afraid to stop it now.
 
update: here was my problem, i needed to compress the 16 bit audio to AAC 320 - duh. that's why i was having a tough time getting it under 100 megs.
