Saturday Night Live shoot with 7d

I emailed your Dublin video to a few producers the day it came out who produce feature films and network tv shows (one prime time sitcom, coincidently one of them worked with Alex on a previous project) and his DP just got done shooting a music video for MTV with a 5D. I'm hearing a lot of talk right now about hollywood DP's / producers using the 5D & 7D in future productions. Mainly tv but when one is a prime time sitcom on CBS it reassures me that these cameras are really good enough.
 
This blows my mind, as I usually watch SNL and complain to myself about the shutter speeds used for the digital shorts. I saw this on Saturday, and thought it looked amazing in HD. Low and behold, look what it was shot on. amazing
 
Looked good. Bloom's blog said the DP gave some feedback to Canon. I wonder what he would like improved?

I'd guess it went something like this, which each of the following to be read in Family Guy's "Mort Goldman" voice.

-Aliasing
-Moire
-DOF too short
-DOF too long
-The cost of the Zacuto Z-finder
-CMOS Skew
-That "5d Crushed Black Look"
-Missing swivel-out LCD
-Fixed Pattern Noise
-Can't get respect with Alec Baldwin because it doesn't look like a real cam

Yep! That's why he said didn't he about the Z1.

When I shot Kevin Spacey on the 5dmkII I pimped it out as much as I could but there was no way I was going to put on my Redrock Mattebox, just too damn big for the 5dmkii
