Hi, i was wondering, for my 6d camera, would it be better to have a nikkor 24mm 2.8 with an adaptor or to have the samyang 24mm 1.5 ?
Thanks in advance, there is a big price difference.
thanks in advance,
Have a great day

I'd go with samyang - fast and sharp lenses and a nice long focus throw. the cine versions come in handy when using a follow focus too...

the samyang 24mm f/1.4 is kind of a lottery (there are good and bad copies, and you don't know that you'll get), but the nikkor 28mm f/2.8 is far from stellar anyway

Assuming you mean the 24?

Actually, the AI-S 28mm 2.8 is a pretty remarkable lens, esp. for the $$. The (current) 28mm AF-D is the same so-so optical formula as the series E, and the (Pre AI-S) AI version isn't that hot. But the AI-S gets you into Zeiss territory.

Yeah, I think he meant 24mm.

Man, Samuel, between this and that FD to m43s speedbooster, you've takena beating today. lol

I have the 6d and nikkor 24mm ais. It really depends on what you're shooting but I vote for the nikon because if you're this wide you're probably going to focus to infinity anyway. The 6D is great in low light so f2.8 shouldn't be a problem.
