i dunno, it sounds smart. how is that different from a 422 sensor that we see in other cams? I dunno man it looks slick ok 20k is a lot but it does seem slick. Do those lenses have aperture rings?

They better have aperture rings, the C300 is totally manual, no AF, no AE (again this comes from Chris Hurd of DVinfo who was invited by Canon to attend and write about the event/product).

The basic specs are the same as reported by mike seymore of fxguideSo far most of the specs are correct

Well... I don't think they handled the announcement well.... conflicting info and lack of certain specs (bit rate).

I'm gonna move on to RED now and let the dust settle on this one... Hopefully I will wake up and see some justifiable reasons for the $20k price tag .... it could still be a very, very good camera and I love the form factor.
