Round-up of C300 Products & Accessories from NAB 2012

I haven't done a lot of footwork yet, other than seeing a couple of intriguing products from IDX, but I wanted to go ahead and start a placeholder for discussing some of the new C300 accessories introduce at NAB this year. I know that several companies have introduced products specifically geared for this camera, but because it functions so well without anything extra, they need to be of exceptional quality and design for me to consider.

Here's a brief video from Jim Martin @ Filmtools about the PV2 Power Plate for Canon C300, as well as a wireless HD-SDI transmitter solution:

Ok, I might be sold on the O'Connor O-Focus DM Photo for the C300. The price tag makes me whinge just a bit, but I bet it's entirely worth it...

Skip to two minutes in to see it on the C300

Love the O-Focus DM Photo as I've decided that even though I spent all that money on the C300, I am going to stick with still glass for now.

Have you seen anything out there that gives us more shoe mounting options? I want to attach my Litepanel Micro Pro and a wireless receiver without velcroing the top handle.

Looks like a real reason to switch follow focus's for me. I like to that with a dual, you can have both possibilities. Quite intelligent.

Thanks for all the sourcing Brian.

With the C300 needing so little add on's for a lot of filming applications, good to be a little more selective on equipment.

Had my C300 since the end of February, such a great camera and so quick to use and set up with a truly great picture. I think a lot of people don't realise the speed of use of the C300.

Brian,

The ultraCage for C300 is a great studio tool, but it's also a really powerful handheld tool. In addition to seeing the ultraCage itself on nearly every behind the scenes photo from the Canon shoots leading up to the november 3rd release, watch my caffeine induced quick change demo from NAB here:

the quick-change system is very impressive. thanks for that, Loren! Redrock just went to the top of my list for rigs.
