Huh? So you're saying that investors made their decision on a thread on the internet? lol
I considered it, but I don't have the money for that yet.
Also, the new domain is now live, so use starspictures.info
Which one? Leap is on my site. Same one it's been for the last month. Wulf? It's online but only for me as an archive. That movie is like a trunk novel for me.Is there a trailer for your other feature online somewhere?
How are you planning to do your Special Effects? Are you going to be using some special software? How big are the special effects going to be? Is it hard to learn to do big time special effects or do you know of some easier ways to do it?:nads:I've added some more updates to my blog.
Side note: Just watched MTV's Ultimate Parkour Challenge. It's a load of garbage. First, ithey're doing freerunning, not pk. Second, parkour is NOT about competition. Parkour is about a spirit and mindset to better oneself to help yourself and others. It's really too bad about the show. And of course, at least two of the guys are from Urban Freeflow, the so called "official parkour association". I'm sorry, but pk is not an organized sport. People need to realize this. Pro Parkour, Against Competition!

Rant over.
Rise of the Beast is more stunt heavy than effect heavy. There is an explosion that will be done with Vegas, AE, and Blender. The car chase will be mostly practical with basic greenscreen for actor inserts. I might do some digital set extensions, but that would be about as technical as it gets. I just started using Adobe After Effects CS4 a week ago. I found it's actually pretty easy to learn, but the interface is WAY different than I'm used to being a Vegas editor. I found some tutorials on videocopilot.net that had some effects I wanted to try. What's cool is that you can download the video files used in the tutorials so you can follow along. Once you've completed the effect, save the AE file and now you have a template for future use if you just substitute the video files. It may require minor tweaking, but you won't have to start form scratch. For instance, I did the disintegration effect, but now I can easily drop in anyone that's in front of a greenscreen into that project and make them disintegrate. How are you planning to do your Special Effects? :kali:I'm planning a project with a lot of special effects and I'm wondering how hard is it nowadays for someone to do everything from scratch.
