"Oh well, I'll always have my prank calls. Hello, old lady from Titanic? You stink!"

WoW I can't even imagine what the world was 100 years ago. People that old have lived one of the centennials with most changes for the world. So many changes.... two world wars, countless economic crisis, the invention of everything that the world is based today, nearly all the story of motion picture, all the story of tv, development of the telephone, electricity becoming a common thing.... wow

I wonder what she thinks about the current economic crisis compared to the great depression. Stuff like that fascinates me. Also I wonder how her views have changed over those hundred years. She has seen the technological world at it's worst and best.

And my biggest question for her would be simply DLSR or AF-100?

R.I.P.

I was chatting with my Mom a few months ago (she's a little bit shy of 100, though) and she said You know, I sure never expected to see a second Great Depression...

Exactly, that's what bugs me, oh I love the experience of old people, I love listening to all their stories... Hopefully, we will be able to talk to our grand grandsons about the year 2000 effect.... or even how an apple revolutionized mp3 players....

See, you must be young (or I'm getting really old) because when you say 'Apple' to me, I still equate it with Apple Records and the Beatles.

Talk about a revolution!

:evil:sure, I'm really young 20 years for me is being young. But I can say that I lived in the 80s (though I only lived in the 80s for 17 days...)

You do know they're talking about the nineteen eighties, right, Zaza? :)

LMAO!

Yes....and from the late 70's to the mid 80's I was a touring, opening shows for Alice Cooper, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Travers, Black Sabbath and Rainbow. Seems like a lifetime ago.

Now I have children older then 20.
(and they like my 'vintage' tee-shirts!)
