1DC: Red Scarlet replacement. Should I get the Canon 1D C?

I shoot a lot of stock footage and I'm thinking about replacing my Scarlet MX for the Canon 1D C.

For the kind of stuff I shoot I can't have external recorder but I till wan to have 10 bit video.

The C300 MK2 costs too much and I'm not sure what camera would provide the best image that won't make me miss my Red camera.

Bellow id some of my work.

Thanks for the help!

Canon 1DC is 8 bit and doesn't shoot 10 bit.

Here are some 10 bit 4K camera options around or under $10k:
Various Blackmagic cameras
FS7
Red Raven

Thanks Eric,

Is there a 10 bit small camera?
Or do I need to get an external recorder?

I were to stay with red I would go for the red dragon!

Well, I use the Kessler crane slider and second shooter. The big cameras are to heavy and it seems that I spend more time setting up the shooting.
I'm trying to find the best quality and small body!

The only small 10 bit camera with interchangeable lenses that I can think of is the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. It's 1080p, though. 5D hacked RAW too if you count a hacked camera.

The Blackmagic Design Production Camera 4K is relatively small, though it generally requires an external battery such as an AB or V-mount which adds to its size quite a bit.

The PIX-E5 is a smaller 5" external recorder/monitor that can keep the size of the unit down if you go that route. Then you can get 10 bit from a GH4.

Take a look at a Digital Bolex. Shoots DNG raw internally up to Red 2k 16:9 format, outputs 10 bit 4:4:4 RGB 1080p to external recorders. Completely self contained and extremely rugged little camera. As with your Scarlet you need an external LCD monitor or EVF anyway, so something like a PIX-E , Atomos, or BM video assist gives you both raw and video recording simultaneously. Similar native sensitivity and DR to RED MX, but really lovely rich color reproduction. PL, M43, C-mount interchangeable lens mount system. Does timlapse but not hi frame rate slow motion.
A couple of short videos I shot with the most recent firmware upgrade and C-mount Angenieux 12-120 and 12-240 zooms.

I'd consider FS5, which will record Raw to an external recorder. Early footage - the Raw upgrade is only now becoming available - is pretty nice. The combo is also fairly small in size and runs ~ $9,000 with media and licenses.
