Haha, what a mad video. I liked it, loads of nice shots there. I'm gonna say it was a 7D because of some of the photography bits towards the end, and I'd feel a lot more comfortable mounting a 7D on a Snorri mount on my talent than a Red :P

Did I see some shots on a lens baby in there too?

I hope the OP actually knows what it was shot with, otherwise this guessing game is going to be fruitless.

Its not inconcievable that it was shot on a 7D with anamorphics. I didnt their was any shot that had the detail in the skin etc that definetly showed it to be a Red. Though I'm sitting on the fence and saying it could be both cameras as it has a Red look about it especially inside the club while some shots outside could of even been on anything really including the 7D.

Its to 7D's credit that we would even bother having this discussion.

red

red

Hopefully this turns out to be the 7D. If not, whats the point? The footage looks great but if it turns out to be the RED camera than why even bothering comparing it. We all know a $17,000 camera should look better than at $1800 camera anyway.

Without watching it I will vote 7D. Because it's posted on the 7D forum of DVXUser. If it's RED then it's off topic. :D

Read my mind tracporter...

All the outside / night shots (starting at about 3:10) have noise that does not look like that of the 7D. If it turns out that those were shot with the Canon, I'd be shocked (but pleased, as that noise looks a lot better than the smudgy stuff you usually see coming from the 7D at high ISOs).

Im gonna vote 7D. The POV on these shots don't look like a monster rig could have pulled it off. Not saying it's impossible, just felt lightweight. Overall, looked great! I enjoyed watching it.

Nice I win... And I lose... damnit.

but yeah, way too much detail without aliasing or moiré for it to be 7D. It's all in the hair.
