Hi,
this is what I would like to see as far as footage on the web goes. If others have other requests, please add. But I think I have covered the most important stuff.
Clips
-----
Red Format
* S35
File Format
* QuickTime .mov, H.264 encoding
* These play well on both, Windows (where I am) and OSX machines.
Resolutions:
* 4k (36 Mbps)
* 2k (12 Mbps)
* 1080p (10 Mbps)
* 720p (8 Mbps)
Duration:
* 5 second clips
* 10 second clips
* 30 second clips
Framerates:
* 24
* 60
Download Page:
* The download page should be modeled after a trailers.apple.com download page with the typical QT HD dowload buttons, e.g.
http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/wb/thedeparted/hd/
http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/paramount_vantage/babel/hd/
Man, I will love to compare the noise rate.
Framegrabs:
-----------
Format:
* JPEG2000 (16 bit color depth)
* TIFF (16 bit color depth)
Resolution:
* only 5k/4k images required
* one can scale down themself
