Rectangular lens hood for XA10/HFG10?

Does anybody know if there's a "rectangular" lens hood (like the one on the XF100) for the XA10/HF-G10, or if the one on the XF100 will fit?

That doesn't necessarily mean anything, though. You could always try ordering a replacement XF100 hood from Canon and testing it out, but if it doesn't work I don't know what you'd do with it :p

Yes I see... well I suppose that what I could do actually, is to visit a camera shop that stocks both camera's, and then see if the person behind the counter will try-out the XF100 hood with the XA10 for me. Well thanks for that.
 
The only problem with that though (and I'm referring to my reply to cowpunk52 above) is that there are no camera shops near to where I live that stock these particular Canons, so if there is anyone out there who happens to live near a shop that stocks these camera's and just happens to be visiting it in the near future, then I'd be really grateful if you have the time to try-out the XF100 hood on the XA10 for me. Many thanks in advance.
