Received our 3 HVXs today PLUS lots of 8GB cards!!!

Hi all:

Wow, I am amazed, we received eight 8GB cards today along with our three HVXs! We also received one of our Panasonic P2 stores, the other is still on order. I kept hearing how the 8GB cards weren't ready yet so receiving the 8GBs is a very nice surprise. Going to have to dig in and learn all about this camera. Luckily I have been studying the manual for weeks so it shouldn't be too difficult.

What a nice surprise for February 1, we were expecting a few more weeks until they arrived.

Doing a simple sit down interview shoot on Saturday and will be rolling the Z1 right next to the HVX-200, should be interesting, I will try to post some stills as soon as it's done.

I'll see what I can do as far as the 5 second clips. Our Symphony has been having some V1.0 software issues and they are working on it.

Hi Boo:

Not sure exactly how much we paid for each card as it all went through our accounting department and we bought three cameras, eight 8GB cards, 2 P2 Stores, extra batteries, etc and and our ops people have the receipt. It was a package deal where we undoubtedly got a VERY good price on everything since it was about $50 to 60k total.

I got my order with Leo's Camera Supply, they should get it in 2 week, then 2 day shipping.

I will have a late birthday present (My birthday is the 5th february.

Let us know what your impressions of it.

I'm going to resist being rude and asking for you to do a bunch of tests, I will just wait for whatever you are willing to post.
