Someone once told me, shooting people eating is ugly, and you know what, he was right, not very pleasing to the eyes.

What is "Funktion" as I have never heard or seen that word in the english language, second that footage does not look very good and I would even go on to say that it looks bad.

Sorry sir, try again

What the hell kind of post is that? Rude, unhelpful, and pretty much not what we encourage here. Try again.

I actually thought it was nice, she is pretty, and it reminded me of a Carl's Junior (Hardees) commercial...pretty women eating junk food.

First of all it's using the crop function so it's lower resolution than typical as the crop function is essentially digital zoom, it does not actually record HD with that little sensor bit. As a crop function test it would tell us that the footage doesn't look as good, but that's what it was labeled as, so it's fine...and it let the shooter stalk his subject from a distance :D

As for the spelling, I would point out that in the English language English is capitalized. It's the internet, if we start being dicks about spelling and grammar aside from the most egregious errors we all lose. Additionally, funktion is German. It's possible the poster is. We have a strong multi-national presence on this forum and if you have a problem with that I suggest you go elsewhere. You shaped up your act in the other thread, it sucks to see you trolling over here.

You must have a serious problem with life, me or just everything in general. I said "funktion" because I have no idea what that word meant? I looked it up in my os + dictionary.com and nothing in the english language came up, it was nothing against spelling or anything.

Second I said the video quality looked bad, which it does. Now if those two things bother you when in fact they are true what can I say. Finally for someone who does not own a T2i you sure go out of your way to post in every topic that is brought up.

So unless you own, are working with or do anything T2i related it is you who should find somewhere else to post.

Now if my opinion bothers a mod then I guess this community will just never understand.

You see the guy above me with the yellow name named Barry Green? He's not only a mod he literally wrote the book on half the cameras on this site. He had a problem with your post.

As for me posting in various forums, I've shot on almost all the cameras here, and have a great deal of experience. For example, I knew that this video was shot with the crop function on the T2i and knew what that meant. I don't have to own the camera to be able to clarify that point to those here, like you, who might own the camera but be unfamiliar with all its functionalities.

My apologies to the thread starter, Barry & Ben.

I understand now that the crop function is not full resolution, my mistake. Also my wording was incorrect and very unprofessional. In the future I will learn to make my point with out disrespecting anyones hard work as this is very difficult.

My apologies to everyone here and to the original thread starter keep on shooting video and do not let the comments of one persons opinion effect you in anyway.

Excuse me, Ben, but what do you mean by this strange word "functionalities". Perhaps you mean "funktionalities"?

In all seriousness, danke schoen for your thoughtful, fact-based replies.

Movie-Crop-Funktion = Movie-Crop-Mode:happy:

Movie Crop 200mm = 1400mm

this shoot with the 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM Canon-Lens: work with 200mm and MovieCrop-Mode 1400mm. Movie-Crop-Mode: 640x480 max.

Excellent thread. I was just wondering about this movie crop function and exactly how much reach this would give me (for concerts etc) and this footage demonstrated that perfectly. Thanks!!
