The complaint people have about LA-EA1 has nothing to do with how difficult it is to have perfectly working aperture control. The adapter was purely designed for DSLR camera -- pre FS100. For the record, controlling aperture on FS100 with LA-EA1 works just fine. The minor complaints are in relations to specific style of shooting (i.e. changing aperture while rolling). The point being that theres NEX and theres NEX fs100. Obviously a difference in signal code because what works on cameras like the NEX 5, 5n does not necessarily mean itworks for the FS100.
Also from what I've read people are requesting better iris control for the La-EA2 with the Fs100. With still no autofocus control.

Thats a sony adapter with a sony camera having issues so please lets stop with its easy and not complicated to get iris control.
The Conurus adapter is simpler compared to the Birger's with auto focus, wireless follow focus, etc. And same goes for Sony's LA-EA2.
