Way to go Jason. Just finished my first and sent it off over this early fall and now winter, 7 in all, and we'll see if anything goes. Sort of doubt it but who knows. Anyone had any luck with theirs?
 
This project is still alive! :) Just wanted to say that. I've had minor flux in the shooting dates, but they are locked, and I am taking care of a few props (at zero cost) and finalizing a few things on the script. Should be shooting in about 2 weeks.

I'm drawing a blank on BTS interviews this time though. I guess I could do what I have done in the past and just turn the camera on and wing it.... but, if I were superstitious, I would say that doing BTS is jinxing me, and the projects die shortly after that :) So, maybe no BTS interviews this time.

Anyways, I am determined to complete this project! First complete film, here I come.

This sounds like an interesting project, Jason. It's always nice when someone takes a different look on love. I'm very much looking forward to your entry! :thumbsup:
 
Thanks, Blaine... I appreciate it. I have pretty strong confidence in my actors. I hope I can do something that is pretty strong technically considering my limited resources/experience. I'm optimistic, and hope it goes well.

wow...a friend of mine who may be composing some music for my short looks so much like your lead actor, it's scary. Sounds like an interesting story, and I like the poster quite a bit. Can't wait to see! :)

If you were superstitious you'd blame it on the number of blueberries in the muffin you ate.
If you were being reasonable and rational you'd blame it on the BTS interviews.

Don't even THINK about doing any BTS stuff until after you've shot - I for one want to see this entry in the fest.

Someone voted for my thread... that's a first :) Thanks.

Looks like I'll be shooting 14th-15th still, so all is going ahead still. I'm a little behind on pre-production, but I just have a couple of props to make.

Budget so far = 0 dollars :laugh:

Ok. Had a rehearsal yesterday, and a shoot today. We shot about 90% of the thing. The rest will be shot tomorrow.

I'm pretty encouraged all in all after today. Hopefuly will be a solid first attempt.
