are EF lens more expensive compared to EF-S?
If anything, they'd be cheaper as they can be used on more cameras.
But it's hard to tell as EF-S are specially designed for crop sensors. It's not like you get EF and EF-S versions of a single lens.

i will be shooting videos with t3i, so can you please suggest which battery should i use, which will run long?
All the t2i/t3i batteries are the same. You'll need to a buy a few. I can squeeze a maximum of two hours out of mine, but it all depends. You can also purchase a battery grip.

Yeah I have heard some good things about the 85mm. The difficult thing about film and DSLR's is the price of lens haha and knowing which ones work the best.
I guess you could always rent the lenses to find out what lenses work the best.
