36 is a nice number, but youre right, isnt it usually around 50? Or am I wrong?

the number actually varies from about 30-80 (or more).
Herofest was a lot less, maybe 30, Hallows Fest was about 38 competing. Then of course, zombiefest and horrorfest were ridiculously high.
Michael Anthony Horrigan
More Cowbell Pictures
LoveFest, TimeFest, TwilightFest and LossFest were also quite high.
60's I believe. Some close to 70. (Going by memory)

Chris Keaton hasn't been able to access the site since yesterday. He also mentioned that he is aware of 1 other user who is trying to upload a film but also can't access the site. Is there some tech issue going on? I haven't had any problems, but if lots of others are then that could account for the relatively low number of entrants.

Wow, this seems like the smallest fest in a long time. Hey, thats good for a reasonable viewing time!

Is there a set time? Or do we just kinda keep checking in every once and a while to see if it's happened yet?

It'll be later tonight (california time) ... there are things that must be done behind the scenes before they go live.

Amazing how many 'regulars' didn't enter, no Zak, no Mark Harris, no Fat Monster, no JDS, no pia12254, no Norm Sanders, etc.
I recognize several of the entries but I'm amazed by how many I don't recognize, guess I'm feeling like an old-timer, fests change. I guess this place is becoming like a college where people come in and move on.
I'm still super psyched by several entries, can't wait for viewing!

I was also surprised by this. This is actually my *gasp* 7th Fest entry and Joe's 6th, I guess we are the resident "old" DVXusers at the ripe ages of 24 and 28.
