Considering the bathrooms were locked during a lot of our shooting I wouldn't be surprised if the crew made squishy around the set.

Hey, thanks for stopping by. Can't wait to see work from fellow Fresnians. Love the grabs and the set. Are you renting much gear or do you own (or your crew own) most of it.

Can't wait. Good work finishing. Good luck.

I think if not all, then most of the equipment belonged to the guys at Blaire Media. On marks "Netherborn" shoot, it was a combination of (mostly) my equipment, Troy's equipment, and Matts. On Troy's film, I think it was pretty much my stuff plus Matts shotgun mic, and the hypercam.

Not only does Shane have the stuff, but he actually organizes it!

Hey don't forget on those shoots who won the "most packed car" award... Me! :engel017:
Tables, chairs, two generators, fuel(!), Hypercam, Hyper-Fly rig, cables, tools, C-stand, ladder, cart, cones, some lights, and a small Zimbabwean minihoonie named Herman...

Also, now I can't find my Bogen mount that had been on Matt's HVX when I sent it out with Mark for Netherborn shots... Poo.

Well guys! It is almost that time! The movie viewing is about to go live sometime soon and you will all get to see this movie "PUSH" we have all worked so hard on. I have to admit I have butterflies (Or condors) fluttering around in my stomach. I always do when people will see one of my movies. I hope you all enjoy it and I thank all of you (You know who you are) who helped me make PUSH what is turned out to be. I am happy with it and excited for its DVXuser Debut!:dankk2:

That is true, you did have a packed car. Although I don't think we ever used the generators except on hyperflyrig night!

Poo.

Don't you mean "Squishy"?

BTW... Matt... a genius, he just suffers from a strange form of Turrets Syndrome or more commonly known as Wombatis Turretis. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) He is receiving shock therapy and getting weekly injections, he is told that it wont last. (sorry... I couldn't help it)

On a serious note...Yep, I agree with Matt, I too am anxious and a little Butterflyery-ish... nervous. this was definitely a lot of fun! Of course there is always stuff that we could've added or polished with more time/resources, but all things considered, I think we real nice flick!

A couple more BTS shots:
Notice in the shot you have Mark Aro, DP and AD; Justin McAleese, Cinematographer extraordinaire; Mike Aro, Digital Audio Guru, and in front with the amazing RED ONE camera, Director Matt Sconce, checking settings for the shot.

:thumbsup:Go watch PUSH!!

Whew! Voting is open. I am downloading films right now! I hope you enjoy watching push as much as I loved making it. I look forward to hearing from you. ENJOY!

I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of The Matrix just a tad but I wasn't distracted by it. Might just be me anyway.

Loved the parking garage scene. Very cool.
Fit the theme quite well.

I'll post more thoughts later.

Nice work.

Mike

Amazing!

SPOLIERS

I loved it when the "bad guy" threw the gun at Enoch and he kicked it back...That is what won it over for me! (not that I didn't like it) but that is what sealed it as a great action flick. Thats what I was getting from the Music anyways, and I thought to myself, ok, sounds Action-y wheres the action...then BAM! TAKE THAT BAD GUY!

All in all Great work guys! there was a moment before he pushed the button that was a bit CGI-y to me...but still awesome none the less!

Yeah... it really could have benefited from some more tweaking on the CG, but considering we did all the VFX in two weeks, I guess I can't complain.

I'll echo the earlier posts that kicking the gun back was quiet awesome.

SPOILER

The guy who walks in and kills both of them kinda bothered me as he didn't really show any recoil in addition to the gun sound FX not sounding very matched to the environment. Took me out of the film a bit. The blue and yellow lighting in the outdoor scene was really cool.

Great work.

The film definitely looked professional. That "hypercam" shot (I think) looked fantastic.

Story was a little iffy for me. It felt like it had the possibility to be something original but nothing was explained very much.

Good work. Can't wait until your team's next short.

*SPOILERS*

Your action sequences were amazing, but I felt the couple sequences could have been reworked to better effect. I would have liked to have seen some more compelling moment of intimacy between the two characters to make me care whether she lived or died too. He obviously cares a lot, but as the viewer I don't really. Really great action though, that is obviously your strong suit. With a better script I think you could really do something exceptional.
