Me too!!!

Good for you!
Must be a nice feeling. :)

I hope to be in the same situation shortly.

Can't wait to see all these great flicks!

Mike

Thanks! I see your upload succeeded. Congrats. :thumbsup:I am getting more and more excited to have everyone see Push! *:grin:shakes with anxious anticipation:cool:* It feels weird to be done with it! I feel like I am slacking or something.

Yeah, now I am getting really excited for the viewing...

Yep, I am thinking this will be a very tough competition. I know that the O2 guys are coming in guns blazing, and Push is coming in Guns Blazing... "Literally" and RPDM looks freakin phenomenal. And basically there are many others that look just as good as all of ours. I can't wait to download them and watch the results of everyone's hard work. It will also be awesome to see the growth in previous fest filmmakers! This will be a kickin DVD as well!:engel017:

Here is a previously unposted BTS of us balancing the RED ONE on the glidecam V-16 for the second weekend of shooting PUSH.

Man that was a heavy rig.

Well, off to bed I go. I am becoming a fest thread Junkie. I keep hitting refresh to see what people have posted recently. And by keep hitting refresh I mean every 5 seconds! Hazaah! Oh, and I am stoked about our new banner. I think it shows a little more about Push than our old one. I also must thank my wife again for the name. It is so much better than what I had originally named the movie...

I've been following this thread since the beginning...this is one of my first ones i'll watch!!! Like the new banner

Rogan

Thanks! I hope others feel the same. :engel017: I have figured out the secret to successful indie filmmaking...well...one of the secrets... It is PREPARATION. I spent a lot of time planning this shoot, and everything around it. I traded and bartered some of my film stuff to get enough money to rent a lens for the RED, and traded other things to get the steadicam for the shooting period. I networked with friends who own the RED and made sure I surrounded myself with great people, like Mark Aro, Troy Ruff, and my dad Gary Sconce. When it came time to make it, it was a smooth process. I needed to plan better for post, but now that I understand the RED workflow, it will be easier next time.

I am so excited for people to see the results of the hard work, blood, sweat and tears that went into this. It is a very rewarding experience to finish a film. Definitely worth the journey.

You really are a dvxfest junkie. Your post last night was almost midnight, and the first thing you do when you wake up is post around 8am! I may have to put you through a 10 step program! Of course, I would have to go through one too. I check the threads, though not as often as you, about 5 times a day.

I can't wait for the viewing to open!!!!!

When people ask me what film school I went to after watching my movies and I reply with a smile "No film school...a place called dvxuser.com" Hooray!

I love this place.

It is interesting watching each film appear as approved one by one on the status list. I feel the tension for the poor people still waiting. They are almost all approved now so I would expexct the viewing to be in the next couple of days.

An interesting and horrifying twist here on the home front. The city board members are trying to defund our Fresno City Film Comission. the vote is today and a ton of filmmakers are showing up to protest it and state reasons why it should not be done. It would be devastating if that vote passes. The vote is at 2:00pm PST.

:embarasseThe board is meeting right now....

It appears they may defund the Fresno City Film Comission despite all of us telling them what is happening in the industry and why it will bring Fresno money in the future. They have some issue with Allen Autry (Our Mayor) or something like that. I just hope they do not defund it as all of our recent filmmaking activity was made possible by that comission.:banned:
