Frankly it looks good (very close to max Image Quality) at settings considerably lower than 100Mbps http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/699/avchd-maximum-image-quality-settings-and-testing/p11 Ralph_Bs comparison of various settings to the raw HDMI output. Over 100M though Driftwoods 132M GOP3 settings are very stable too, lots of us have really pushed them now.

So do you have both setting in camera and only need to change the movie mode, or are these two separate hacks?
 
James, I am not 100% sure version increment needs to be checked when loading unhacked firmware. Try it unchecked and let us know.However, even if you find you DO need to check it, the version number does not actually update! I have hacked and rehacked my GH2 several times, always with Version Increment checked. But when I have the camera display the firmware version it is always unchanged at 1.0.

Last part of the IQ-comparisons. This time lowlight behavior. Please let me know if you discover any differences or artifacts (macroblocking, smearing in shadow areas... etc).

Note: The slomo is very slightly stuttering because I shot all scenes with a shutter of 1/50. Otherwise I would have get artificial light flickering here in Europe (50Hz).

720p60 is always the second clip (slomo in a 24 tl)

Or the lines that you replaced on the CBRANDIN file to add the 720P settings?
