I know that someone has likely answered this question in the past, but after using the search feature, I couldn't find it on the site.
I am usually a Mac user, but am contributing to a project that is being edited on a PC with Vegas. I'm not 100% sure which version they're running, but am assuming it isn't the latest and greatest.
I'm shooting 1080/30p and 720/30p for them on my HVX to P2 and would like to provide it to them in an editing format on a PC. Using Raylight, I know that I can convert the files to AVI, which is ok. However, they do not have Raylight, and hence the AVI with Raylight codec isn't going to work for them.
What would be the best PC-friendly format to give them for editing my footage? I assume that there will be some time for transcoding involved here.
Any advice appreciated!
