Ok so my Tamron is not working when i put the lens on AF (switch on the side of lens).
Symptoms:
1. when i half press the shutter button to meter the shutter closes up ( or mirror flips up) and stays up till i release it.
2. No photos are taken even though shutter button is pressed. (video works)
3.when put in MF (manual focus) mode via the side switch i am now to take photos...and meter ect.
Anybody knows what could be wrong?

k just finding this out....this only happens when i'm using the LCD. if i use the VF to take stills it can actually take the pic. so iz it some setting in the camera?
actually didn't get one cuz my friend that brought it into the country for me lost it.
