problems with log and transfer...

Recently I have been having trouble logging my p2 footage in FCP. Some of my volumes will log fine but others just wont show up in the log and transfer window. It seems to like it might be something with my computer as my footage always transfers fine on other machines.
 
I do have FXfactory but they are only trial versions now. I actually think this started happening when I installed FXFactory, just didn't put two and two together. Is there any specific way of uninstalling plugins from FCP or should I just delete from applications?
 
After uninstalling FXfactory i'm still having issues. I have followed the P2 workflow instructions on this forum to the T but anytime i try to select my footage nothing happens. It's just like the log and transfer window is ignoring me. If it does work, it's very picky... I'm running 6.0.5 right now but I'm going to try rolling back to 6.0 if i can't get this figured out.
