so i am able to add a picture style to the camera when it is in any mode other than the VIDEO one on the dial. but as soon as I turn it to the video mode, the button on the EOS utility is greyed out. And I can't select the picture style i've put into the camera in say M mode in the Video icon mode. What am I doing wrong??

*look over on the right where "Register User Defined Style" is not selectable.

I just figured it out, go ahead and turn it to still mode to load in that picture style, when done, go back to movie mode and go to user 1 and load that picture style in.

that doesn't work for me. the picture style is there in Still mode, but when I go into movie mode, its not there in User 1.

where did you get the live view program?

You can also get it directly from the Canon support website. Just go to support > T2i and choose your OS. The download link doesn't appear until you choose your OS. I would get it from the website since its already been updated and the version on the disc is already outdated.

Its called EOS Utility.

yo,you have to have your cam on M setting with dial. Then you can upload picture styles to camera.

Having Same Problem

Having Same Problem

I am having the same problem. I turn the dial to M, and load a picture style which works in all still modes. The second I go to video, User Def. 1 goes back to Standard. I'm not sure what you guys mean by hit enter, or upload it to video after you upload it to still. help?

i am having the same exact problem! please help!

ahhhh I found out how to do it!

ok, so:
If in still mode you upload it into user define 1 then back in video mode go to
menu/ picture style/enter(set)/user def. 1/display/enter(set)/and arrow up or down to find the marvel preset/menu.
BTW I've done it and it works!

Sweet, I was worried about this. Have you tested it and checked the output?

OK, I tried everything you guys wrote, including the instructions above - MANY times! They show up in still mode, but video mode won't allow me to add anything.

What is 'display' .. maybe that's my problem? .. I see nowhere to arrow up or down for presets.

Help would be great!
