TeleDan said:dewman, I was in your position when the last video collection came out (1.5). It took more than one phone call but I was able to argue that I was already registered for all the bundle components and should qualify for the upgrade from one bundle to the next. It took more than one call to get someone who cared enough to go check. It's worth a shot.

Sumfun said:The total cost for editing DVCPRO HD keeps going up. $1300 for the software and $1700 for the capture card. Isn't that about the same price as an Avid Xpress Pro HD or an iMac with FCP? :undecided
But -- what does this do for you? How does this work? These cards don't support MXF files, right? So maybe you could use one for live streaming and analog capture, but you couldn't use it for recorded footage, could you?Neil Rowe said:all clearly printed signs from adobe point to needing the AJA XENA LH or AJA XENA LHe card which supports DVCPRO HD and DVCPRO50..
Sumfun said:But DVCPRO HD has been around for more than 3 years! If the only HD format that Premiere can support natively is HDV, then there's nothing "Pro" about it!
Gregg said:I agrree, I am dropping this prog. Adobe is sending a clear message that they don't want their video editing app to be taken seriously.
Looks l ike I need to learn Final Cut or Avid.

Someone needs to get to the bottom of this, because right now as I see it, Premiere Pro is not gonna work for the HVX, at least not without RayLight.
