Premiere Pro 2.0

Seems like Jan to me - books like this go for a simultaneous launch. Its the right time for dvcprohd support to come out for ppro.

Forget dvcprohd support, we still need true 24p support without the damn bugs!
 
...uh, id like to remember that DVCPRO HD support. ;) 24p works for me ok but could be better. acrossed the spectrum of working with it in the application.

Any idea if DVCProHD will be supported? What are the major new features? Adobe's website had nothing about 2.0.

I pleaded with several adobe reps to let me know if DVCproHD would be in it at DVExpo 12-05and they wouldnt confirm anything.

At Siggraph 08-05, the adobe rep said yes. SO.... We can only hope. I would imagine that Cineform would do it tho.
 
Adobe won't tell you the release date until it's released. I bought Illustrator and Photoshop CS the week before CS2 was released. I was kinda pissed that my rep didn't tell me, but he didn't know. Adobe was good about it though and provided me with free upgrades (I had to pay shipping).

The rep did tell me that adobe usually works with an 18 month product cycle. Premiere Pro 1.5 came out in September 2004 which would make a January launch VERY close to the window.

I can't wait.

i just called adobe and teh rep also said very soon, i said how soon, a month? he said yes, i think jan 16 is the daate.

im shaking already. i know it has the multicam which is sweet.
 
Plus the mainconcept people and cineform people are really trying to integrate DVCproHD - so we should win in the end.

Was there a feature list included with the picture? Only 10 more days, so we can probably wait.
