The F3/F5/F55 don't??Is there really any Sony camera that does REAL 10-bit over HDMI? (as in more than 256 level of gradations?)

Thanks, instead at 200p and 100p (PAL) how many seconds you will be shoot before stops, and how the playback at 25 would be in seconds? Still I don't have understood well if It's the SD Card the problem (also at 256 GB) will be the same?Yes the time is limited..
But 8 seconds at 240 p takes 80 seconds to play back at 24p.. most likely that is super boring in your edit.
8 seconds is plenty of time to film a diver dive, or a bmx jump or a skate trick or a beer pour.. or all the 'usual' slo mo shots

That's assuming you know EXACTLY when that 8 second action is going to happen. This slow-mo cache is totally useless for wildlife and most nature shots.

If I remember right the FS700 has 'end trigger' which actually not totally useless for non anticipatable action - dont know about the new cam.
Of course having the ability to just roll is a better and more costly option.
But as I said it is a super useful feature for those one off hits - skate tricks, beer pours and the like - certainly puts one in a different place from a canon in the same price class (and some!)
Actually with the FS700 the problem was not with triggering but the time spent writing the clip to the card which can feel like an age on a pressured set.

I agree that's a good argument for the FS700 way of doing things, but I still would prefer continuous 180 fps. I'm in Yellowstone this very minute shooting wildlife with my F55 and FS7 and I can tell you that a 8-second burst would not meet my needs at all. And as far as I know, I don't think that it's even been established that the FS5 will have a post-trigger option. Probably, but who knows. Sony has a way of taking stuff away you'd think would be a no-brainer.
Af100 to FS5 here I come.
