Please give me feedback on this color correction. Thanks!

you keep presenting these things for color correction feedback. without showing us the before image there really isnt much we can say.

Too dark. Make sure you calibrate your monitor before you do CC. Apple has a utility in the applications do do so, I'm sure windows has some free apps out you can download. Also, always trust you waveform monitor, it doesn't lie.

yeah I do manual white balance. sheesh I am not understanding how the one guys color is so clean. I suck. :(

Hey, you're just learning. Everybody sucks until they learn. Pretty much all I did with your footage was to stretch the levels. What software are you using to grade? Look around for the 'levels' effect and drop it on to your footage. You should see a histogram pop up with the effect controls. In a typical scene with highlights and shadows, you want to stretch out your histogram so that the darkest items in the scene are close to 0 and the highlights are close to 255 (assuming 8 bit, don't worry what this means!)

Yeah man, same as your last posts. Your images are way too dark. Open up your iris.

Before and after is the only way we can tell the difference.

I think yer getting solid advice so far.

To perform a really basic color correction within FCP, add your clip to the viewer. Add the 3-way color corrector filter. Open up your video scopes. While looking at the waveform monitor, slide the black level so that black touches zero. Slide your white level so it's around 90%.

Doing nothing but that should get you most of the way toward a decent looking clip.

Adjust to taste from there.

BUT...there's nothing like getting decent exposure in-camera so you don't lose details.

Which Apple application are you refering to cc you monitor?

Yeah, have to agree with everyone, way to dark, the problem is that when you boost it up your going to get a lot of grain, Shoot a little more open next time, I know how you feel, I suck too at color too.
