Can picture profiles be shared between a C 300 and lets say A 5d Mk2 or Mk3 for camera matching purposes?

No, you can't share a profile as they are different imaging systems, with different codecs and sensors. What you can do is set up a profile on each camera to to match with the other as best as you can. There is already an EOS profile on the C300 which is supposed to match with the DSLRs, but it's too contrasty for my taste. I shoot both cameras with a flat profile which helps when matching them in post. Also, knowing the strengths and weaknesses of both systems and choosing the right shot for each will help when you come to grade.
