Petri Lenses

I just hit my local thrift store this morning and picked up an old Petri FT SLR with matching 35 and 135mm lenses. I was hoping that there was an adapter so I could mount them to my T2i but I haven't been able find anything. I don't know much about the various mounts but I'm curious if there's a way to make this work.

Early Petri SLRs, (such as the "Penta",) came with an M42 screw lens mount, while later models used the proprietary Petri breech lock bayonet. Adaptors were manufactured to use either mounts on either cameras, (with some loss of functions.)

After looking at photos of the proprietary Petri mount and m42 it looks like I have the Petri. Could I get an adapter to bring the lens to an m42 mount then get the m42 to Canon adapter?

I don't know about that due to flange distance. I have not found a petri to eos adapter, but look on ebay

Yeah, I would assume the flange distance would get thrown off a bit doing that... After a good deal of searching, I still haven't found anything. I've read that while Petri made pretty decent lenses they're kind of a generic brand and there was never a demand for an adapter. Oh well... can't win em all.
