Pentax k adaptor for eos

I'm concerned about K mount adaptor (for vivitar 28-70)
damaging camera. Anybody experience with this?

it should work fine, especially on the 7D. To my knowledge, the pentax k-mount converts very well.

I use a Pentax-K adapter on my T2i. It's supposed to be good for all APS-C bodies, which includes the 7D. It's the full-frame cameras like the 5D that are incompatible. The only issue I've ever had is that the first (very cheap) adapter I bought from eBay didn't work (the lens wouldn't lock in place). I returned it and bought one from Fotodiox, which works perfectly.
