Paul Condon Presents..."I Hate Zombies"

I have a question... how does the whole physics thing work with zombies? Don't zombies traditionally eat brains? And then people become zombies from having been eaten... yet they say to kill a zombie you have to shoot it in the head... essentially in the brain...

but the brain has just been eaten...

How does that work?

Isn't the medically accepted explanation for zombies that if you are bitten and escape, you become a zombie, if you don't escape they eat you, I'm pretty sure I read that in the Sept. 2005 New England Journal of Medicine.

Well, sometimes a normal person is only bitten, then escapes before the zombies can eat them up. Traditionally the zombie virus is spread through bites. Other times, the victim is eaten up because they're either swarmed by a horde of zombies and just can't escape. Also, in a lot of zombie movies it isn't the brain, but the whole person that the zombies want to eat.

I don't know if there is any type of real scientific basis for this, but I like to think that maybe zombies could act with a hive mentality when in large groups, not unlike ants, bees, or wasps. Maybe when a zombie has had their fill of flesh and brains, they instead attempt to infect normal humans until they are hungry again, in which case they will go back to eating the uninfected. Maybe it is part of their "instinct". If a parasite were the basis for the zombie plague, then this could technically be possible in nature.

I think I read that too... but I'm sure I've seen films where someone is ripped apart to be eaten.. and then they return as a zombie a few scenes later...

Maybe they weren't completely eaten and whatever remains is then turned and must go on in whatever form they have left thus we see many examples of half eaten zombies and zombies that have organs seeping from there bowls...

Well as long as they still have brains... it was the brains thing that I was having trouble getting my head around. For some reason I can accept re-animated corpses but then a switch goes off and I can't see how the brains thing works...

Sorry guys.. thinking too much recently. I took the purple pill.

LOL...Rodney the purple ones are the ones that make you stay in this type of quandary too long.
