Panic Attack

WOW!!!!! That 5 minutes was better than all 2 hours and 50 minutes of Transformers 2. Seriously amazing work.

Wow.
Well... I feel lazy.

By the way, am I way too geeky or was that a Battleship Potemkin shoutout with the baby carriage on the steps?
:)

I don't think the camera would have mattered much, as most of this was excellent CGI comp(s), very very well executed.

in fact having it look like video helps in this case more than having it look 'film like'

The important technical aspect of the camera would be how good/easy pulling chroma key would have been on it.

EDIT:

one thing I have to add, the plus side of CGI is that its a multiplier (of efforts) in the sense that there was at most 4 main models used (rom my count), naturally making and rigging those models was the hard part, but once created, making copies is the easy part.

Holy cow!!! 300 bucks goes a long way in Uruguay. With a show reel like that, I bet these guys will finally be able to move out of mom and dads basement! Nice work.

I've been trying to do that with real good actors here no such luck yet keep you posted ....... didn't like short that much though .

I think the look of the city and the grading might be undervalued here. Sure the CGI was great, it compliments the look of Montevideo, tugs at the thread within us of old "futuristic robots" from long ago... the whole damn post is just great, explosions, smoke, rockets... But what is so great about this film (IMHumbleO) is how everything comes together. Don't forget the score, sound design, cinematography, and more.

Who said good stuff can't be done down south?
Hope some of it carries in the genes or something. : )

Thanks for sharing. Loved it.

Make sure to rate it and comment on YouTube. I guess that is what they are hoping for so if you liked it let them know.

Didn't notice it at first but it's absolutely an homage to it.

You're on a board with filmmakers. If anyone thinks that's too geeky, they shouldn't be here.

NERD!
