GH3 Panasonic GX7 vs GH3 Shootout

Hmmm, this seems to be the more vibrant thread:

I just returned from Samy's camera in San Francisco, and it's clear after doing a couple of AB tests with my GH3, the GX7 has a much wider sensor. Possibly wider than the GH2's, 1.86 crop. Does anyone have any more knowledge about this? I'm not finding much on Google. This is great news, as I often feel I'm just not getting wide enough with my 14 to 140 on the GH3, but I do need the long lens. Also, the GX7 seems head and shoulders better than the GH3 in lowlight and seemingly much better with aliasing as well.

The GX7 is certainly a fine camera, but I wouldn't buy it at this point in time with the GH4 just around the corner. The GH4 will trump them all, big time.

They look nearly identical. So close its not even worth much, imo, unless it saves you money. Maybe I'm spoiled by the BMPCC when it comes to having a negligible difference present. That 0.01% difference just isn't cutting it anymore. lol.

They looked very similar in 99% of the shots. 3:55 seems to show a little better DR on the Gh3 though assuming the same setting were used, which I assume they were. It retained the highlights on the neon sign whereas the GX7 they were clipped pretty good. I hoped for a bigger difference after reading the other thread regarding the claims of how good the DR is on the GX7. Not seeing it at all in this comparison test.
