C'mon guys, 885 posts to this thread. We can push it over 1000 before the Preview Event tomorrow. I know you have it in you. Maybe more YouTube links to catch phrase lines from 80s comedies. Together we can make this happen!
 
I remember with the DVX100 and HVX200 came out though I wasn't on this forum back then. I don't recall any thread with so much interest as this camera.

I don't recall this much attention to a yet to be seen camera either Firehawk. I've said it before... A lot of pent up demand for the heir apparent of the AF100. This camera could/should do well. Panasonic doesn't have to make it perfect... Just perfect enough. :)

OK, I'll bite. The one thing I can say for sure is how impressed I am at everyone at Panasonic at keeping a secret. Nothing here, nothing at 43rumors, nothing at Phil Bloom's site (well, other then he's heard rumor it's MFT), no pics, no specs, nothing.

And with that Canon C200 drop, it must have been very tempting to do so.

I'd say the interest in the AF100 was even higher if I remember correctly, but yeah, lots of people want to see what's under the hankie. Sony's not likely to announce anything really cool until November or later, Canon is... Canon, and JVC has pretty well maxed out the LS300 at this point.

I like me Sony's a lot, but man o man the GH5 is amazeballs. If the new camera is the GH5 in AF100 shell (a body type I always though looked dope) or even a DVX200 body for $4500ish, then count me in, even if it's MFT.
