Panasonic AF100 Australia - Price info added

Haven't got a fixed price Noel, but Videocraft have confirmation their units are being delivered on Wednesday January 5.
 
Nope that's the first shipment. They may be shipping from Japan before the new year, but they won't clear customs/couriers and reach Videocraft until the 5th.
 
The prices are slowly comming down from Panasonic Australia's LaLa Land rrp of $7,000... (Best I've seen is about $5k...but haven't looked too seriously yet).

The killer isn't the camera price but the crappy Australian price for a Nanoflash...$1,000 more than the US price. And that's the "discounted" price. Without a Nanoflash it simply doesn't meet the broadcast delivery requirements for BBC, Nat Geo, Discovery etc...so not much point for me.

Why not consider the ki pro mini then? Its around same price as in US and is cheaper than the Nano.
 
Hi Noel,

The second shipment went out to our Dealers on Monday. Most are spoken for but there may be a few still avaialble. We are taking as many as we can from the factory.

Got mine today from Videocraft for $5420. I'm happy with that... just need the adapter for my Zeiss lenses... which will be a few weeks... sooo annoying.
 
Which adapter did you get? Ive seen others waiting for novoflex, but when I was in japan a couple of weeks ago, every camera store had them in stock for the Lumix. (picked one up myself)

Got mine today form John Barry, Melbourne.

It went to Sydney first, and had to be trandferred. But finally got it today!

Who did you speak to? I was dealing with John Barry Sydney, they quoted me one price in December then when I rang this morning sent me an invoice with a %15 increase, so I am not sure what's going on there, might have to order mine from the Melbourne branch.

John Barry in Sydney is now located in botany which is a bit of a hassle to get to, but super happy to get it.
 
I got mine for $5400 from Lemac. Not cheapest but I'm happy, seems we didn't get jammed compared to the US dollar too, like some other products thanks to the parody
