P2 Export For PC?

Hello All -

A search has turned up nothing conclusive, so maybe I'm missing something.

I want highest-quality-possible QuickTime Output of a P2 sequence for PC. Ideally, this would be universal without need for end-user plugins.

For the past few years, I've been able to export to TAPE (HDCam and SD downconvert); and TAPELESS (DVCPro HD QT for Mac and P2 Sequence through Premiere.)

On PC, I generally edit with Avid.

So...am I stuck with the space-hog animation codec?

Thanks for repsonding! I'll give pro res a try...but in what I'm reading and hearing... pro res only plays with special player? thanks
