P2 E Series - In Stock Yet?

[Barry_Green]

Any local dealer around Las Vegas that might have e series 32 GB cards?

The only dealer anywhere near Vegas that carries *anything* related to pro video, is http://www.nvtdigital.com/

Unless there's someone new that I haven't heard of, those guys are the only option.

Anyone carrying the E Series P2 cards in Canada?

AV Alive is shipping my 32GB E series tomorrow! I preordered a little over a month ago. Exciting!

Just got my e-mail from BH photo video, they now have the E-Series P2 Cards in stock... First come first served:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&Q=&sku=618137&is=REG&A=ShowProduct?BI=4409&KBID=4862?info2http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/con...618137&is=REG&A=ShowProduct?BI=4409&KBID=4862

There are some reported glitches, including: If you are using to shoot DVCPRO50 on an HVX200, HPX170 etc, you will need firmware update (covered in other posts here at DVXUSER). Here is Panasonic Support desk link:

Just checked at BH, the 32 gig E series "accepting orders" and 64 gig is still classified as August arrival. Hope it helps... Good luck snaggin a 16 gig P2 Card...

If they are in stock, customer service won't admit it. I pre ordered a 32 gig a month
ago. Called them today and they still say no definite in stock date.

Vistek.ca seems to have them in stock. However, the prices are higher on the E Series ! This is BS.

[David Saraceno]

Higher than what?

The E series prices are higher than the R series?

Abelcine shipped out my 32s today!

They had some 16s in stock a few days ago, but no 32s as far as I can tell.

I just got two 32s form CineQuipt in Minneapolis, and got a call from Lights On that they got some in too. I inquired at both places about 4-6 weeks ago. Great price too.

We've got 32GB and 16GB's in stock! Filled all our preorders and now have a bunch left over... they are first come first serve.

Edit: 32GBs sold out, we still have a few 16GBs as of 7/2.
