P2 card vs FireStore, what is the better investment?

I figure for a P2 card you don't have to worry about batteries. But with the FS you don't have to worry about dumping a lot. But which is easier to work with in the editing stage? And is there a problem with 24pN in most editing software, like getting the FS footage via firewire onto an editing PC? And if you are just shooting little video's for music or tiny indie flicks, do you really need all the storage and extra camera's for continuity? Can you hook up more than one hxv to a FS?

Simultaneously??? No. Just one cam and one FS. But you can daisy chain Firestore together if you need to.

If you shoot the equivalent of pN in the FS, then you need only copy the files over to your HDD.

As long as there are no issues capturing the video to the FS, editing in MXF format is the same as the cards.
