Over Cranking HVX in FCP?

Help,

How do I get a 60 fps clip shot on my hvx to play in a FCP timeline set for 30 fps? My goal is slo-motion. At this point FCP wants me to render the clip. When I render the clip, it plays back at regular speed.

Thanks!

ideally, to overcrank with the HVX or HPX, you set the cam to film mode, shoot 30n or 24n in the recording mode menu, and there isn't any conversion required. The frames are laid down in a 24n or 30n file, even though the camera is recording 60 fps. or whatever frame rate you choose.

Access the Speed controls for the clip and play at 50% with frame blending unchecked.
