Output options with compressor broken

So my compressor has been broken for AGES! Nothing will help, and Apple seems willing to just ignore the problem. I have Sorenzen Squeeze, and could use that, but I don't know how to get my footage out of the timeline directly into it...I mean, I could output a DVCPRO HD 720p24 clip, but then that's compressing my footage again correct? Can I do uncompressed? I tried this once and only got a very oddly shaped video. What settings would I change if I wanted to do this. Thanks!

Side note: can't wait till Apple gets their game together with compressor...that app blows (not in compression..but in...umm..working.)

No problems here.

Without some information detailing what you are doing on what system with what RAM, version numbers, etc., I certainly can't begin to assist.

Compressor is a fabulous tool.

But help us out with some information about your setup.
 
Its FCP 6.0.1 compessor 3.0.?? The problem is that it crashes on opening... Its fairly well documented, and no real solution exists (I have tried all those suggested on boards across the net) but how would I normally get to squeeze without recompressing my DVCPRO HD footage?
 
I would like to relate my story which might help, so here goes...
I am working on an older OS, 10.3.9 and I was having conflicts with the compressor that gets installed with FCP 5.0.1. Then more problems when I upgraded to FCP 5.0.4. Anyway here is what I did. I installed DVD Studio Pro 2, don't know if this will be relevant to you but, with the DVD SP2 there is a Compressor in there. I just installed that one and didn't bother with the one in the FCP install. Now when I want to use compressor I output my timeline as an un-compressed QT file, very quick. Then I export the timeline using the export to compressor, it will start up but the timeline will not show up in the compressor you have to import the un-compressed QT file and voila, there it is. As I said this was my solution working with older versions but see if this can be done with what you are using. I am now as stable as I was a month ago.
