My 'weekend' is going like this... the Wife has been working on an art project for a customer for about a year now... The 'final' touches are being done as I write... they were supposed to be the final touches yesterday... and the day before that, but now they really have to be the final touches because she has to deliver the work in 2 hours... I have to spray the works with fixative to make sure the gilding doesn't come off... but that can only be done when the final touches are done...

I did take some video clips of The Artist At Work, but definitely they are not something one would put on 'Our Weekends Are Better Than Yours'... in fact, I think the title for my clips is "Anyone's Weekend is Better than this, including a stay in the drunk tank on a Saturday night'...

So, I watch these clips as I wait...

You really want to see me disassembling a drafting table the Wife had me pick up in Yucca Valley... as it was I didn't even have time to take a still of a big pile of rocks next to the highway between Yucca Valley and Victorville that was covered with graffiti...

But I do have high hopes this 'winter' getting out to the desert for some form of filming action... the Wife did see some abandoned buildings that caught her attention...
