Other 32GB Class 6 SDHC options?

Class 6 32's are not that common yet so I don't think you'll find as many of those around as you would class 4's.

I've never heard of Top Ram but I have seen Calumet around for a while now.
Of the two I would lean towards Calumet but I just don't.

If I had to have a class 6 32 gb SD card right now, I would pay the extra money for the Panasonic simply because I have used them before [not 32 gb] and had no problems.

That's what I figured. I'd have to agree that between the two I'd lean toward the Calumet brand as well. I found a review on eBay that the TopRam SD cards have a weak housing and are prone to breaking apart.

Let me say this too, if I could work with class 4's then the door would open a little wider with Lexar and SanDisk which are both pretty good card makers...

Just for the camera all you need is a class 4 but if I had to off-load 32 GB's of video onto a hard drive and turn around time was an issue then a good class 6 with either a SD port or a fast card reader would be the best thing...

you can get 16gb class 6 cards for 25 bucks. i don't know why people are paying 100 for a 32gb.

just get two 16gb

The only reason would be for the longer run time. I bought one of the 32g Patriots for $79, not much more than two 16g cards.

I tried one of the Transcend 16g cards and got 1 hr 47 min run time out of it at the highest quality. Its unlikely that I'd need more than that.

Yes, I'm well aware of the low costs of the 16GB cards, already having two of the 16GB Transcend cards, but as DaFireMedic pointed out, the 32GB will come in handy for long form recording, and I am a fan of time lapse photography.

I can totally understand the need for 32 gigs or more.

The 150 only has the one SD slot and some people just need more than the 90 or so minutes you can get with the 16 gig cards.

Please Panasonic, make the 150 part II with 2 SD hot swappable slots!
And SDI.
And 1/2 CCD chips.
And AVC-Intra plus AVC-HD
And PAL and NTSC
And keep the price below $4000 US.

That's all.
Thanks!!!

HI DEF.... You are right on with that..... might want to start a thread on that. I'd also like to get timelapse added to the mix.. That's really the only major thing I miss about the old HVX.. and I know you can do it in post, but that can be quite a lot more work than capturing one 30 second timelapse.

Clearly I have come to point where I must totally

AGREE WITH YOU !

The Silicon Power 32gb Class 6 SDHC has been benchmarking pretty well from what I've seen. Looks like it's retailing for about $110. I haven't seen it at many retailers yet though; I think it was announced late last year.

One set of benchmarks below. According to Tom's Hardware it's one of the fastest SDHC cards out right now.

Hope that helps.
