Does anybody still know what resolution dvcprohd codec will have in 720p50?
Any word on fcp's support for 720p50?

Nope, when I asked the Mitcorp sales bloke this morning (who'd been on a sales briefing for the HVX200 ), he didn't know.
 
Do post when you get them ~ I can't go for ours until Friday but I want to make sure they keep a HVX to one side and don't sell it to someone who can get there before me! :)
 
HVX200 Pal has arrived with the dealer today...

Now I have to work out how to get time to go and pick it up!
 
H Prestons have just rang. My HVX200 is in ready to be picked up!!
Yikes!! I was going to sell my FX1 on ebay, but they have just offered £1650 P/X so I will take it.

Now to tell the wife. Gulp! Hope the settee is comfortable for the next couple of weeks!

I'm so amazed by the behavior of Panasonic Europe.
Ntsc model was announced 10 months before it shipped and pal model is already shipping, but it is not announced...
They haven't answered to a single question in their own forum for weeks.
Does panny europe still exist?

Oh wow, CKE have got the firestore in?? Preston said they were some way off, though they did have 4gb P2 in for £430+vat.
 
Fellow europeans and PAL users, please do post your hands-on impressions on a separated thread dedicated for us PAL users in general... There are still many unanswered questions- resolution, noise, workflow, etc., and we all should be able to gain with this thread!

May the first person with the PAL camera create this thread, please !(with first impressions!)
