C300: Options for low-res or H264 output with time code out of C300?

Hey everyone, I've got an interesting problem. I'm looking to shoot a series of talking heads interviews using the C300, while simultaneously creating low-res screeners using an external recorder. Seems most people are looking for the opposite - a clean signal to externally output to the highest codec and bit rate. Instead I need the low-res (or H264) files with timecode for internal distribution amongst the production staff.

I've looked into the Atomos line, AJA Ki Pro, and others, but unfortunately most offer ProRes Proxy, which is still too big of a file size. Any thoughts?

Oh and PM will embed the original TC in your proxies so you can send proxies to an editor and they can cut those with confidence and replace with camera originals later.

All great suggestions everyone. The client is most interested in the Teradek solution, especially because various people in the office could also watch the interview streaming over real time. Not 100% sure how to record that feed or save that file, but we're looking into it.

A-ha, great find DL. That's the one you were mentioning earlier I'm sure. Definitely adding to my short list for solutions here. Appreciate the link, and will see if I can get my hands on one of these for testing in the next week.

there is a Chinese monitor that does the same thing for a ton cheaper, just can't remember the name. But Ikan is a good company and I do have their D7 monitor and love it!
