GH5 Only one OSD menu language?

Hi, I was about buying GH5 from some online shops today, but they send me an email saying:

"it comes with only English on the user interface and it does not support other European languages"

Is it possible? I've never heard of that. What if I would want to upgrade to newer firmware - will
I get then other languages as well?
 
My NTSC version has the choice of English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese( I assume ), Portuguese, and Chinese( I assume ) all in the main menu.
 
Multilingual is what I would expect, but the seller confirms they have only English menu version.
Is it possible that such a crippled GH5 version even exists?
 
Or they do not know how to find the menu selection. Wrench menu page 3 of 5. Do they actual have the camera or just trying to get money.
 
No, it is quite well known e-shop with very good opinions.
I ve been told that some part of GH5 are locked to English menu only
to avoid grey market (no idea if that worked..)
 
Then I would contact Panasonic and find out if that was the case if they give you the serial number of the GH5.
 
Just got my GH5 today. Despite of what the seller was saying
- everything is fine, I have 6 languages to choose, just like BobKo pointed out.
