The Comer 1800 came on Thursday morning... interestingly enough, I had a Thursday! Wedding, so I put it to work.
It served the purpose of what I wanted to accomplish... which is light faces during interviews. No complaints about that. Best Wishes done by quests to the bride & groom in the dimly lit reception room looked good.
The one thing I am interested to know about is whether this light is any good outdoors???. I assumed it was not!... The Ceremony was held outside, around 4 pm. I was experiencing backlight on the bride and groom. I attempted to use the light, and saw no difference in the LCD monitor, so I foolishly turned it off to save battery life... even a slight difference would have improved the footage. Thinking back at the sun affecting my LCD monitor, I feel like maybe I made a bad call.
