Olympus Zuiko OM lenses for 7D /5D

[ROCKMORE]

I have a good collection of clean Zuiko primes and zooms from 21mm to 500mm. Has anyone tried Zuiko glass on a 7D or a 5D?

I got some answers to my question on another post. It looks like as I suspected from years or using them in film that they will perform as wall as any other fast SLR manual lenses.
If anybody is looking for good quality glass at a great price, I would encourage picking up a few Olympus Zuiko lenses on Ebay and try them on you 5D, 7D, or GH-1.

I have 7 Zuikos that I use on my GH1. All are very good.

I have a 28 3.5 that I use on my 7D and LOVE.

Looking for a rare 21.

how do they work with the 7D? do they need a particular adaptor?

There is a 2mm thick adapter uses to adapt Olympus Zuiko lenses to EOS camera bodies. Some are just stainless steel and others have some electronics for auto features, but being that the OM lenses are all manual probably the standard adapter would work the same.

That's great to hear. I did see a 21 on Ebay a few months back. It's a bit more expensive that other Olympus lenses, but still a better deal than other brand lenses if you can find one.

Do you have any footage shot with your 28 3.5 that you can post. Would be great. Thanks

do you have a link to the adaptor? i can't find it on e-bay. cheers
