http://www.lenstip.com/351.4-Lens_r..._Digital_75_mm_f_1.8_ED_Image_resolution.htmlThe resolution test of the Olympus 1.8/75 was based on RAW files from the Olympus E-PL1 camera. In the case of that body the highest results achieved by the best fixed-focus lenses are about 80 lpmm (the record value of 82.6 lpmm was reached by the Voigtlander 0.95/25). The decency level is set near 42 lpmm.
The performance in the frame centre can be only called brilliant. Already at the maximum relative aperture the lens goes to a very high level of over 64 lpmm. Stopping down the aperture only improves the situation further – near f/4.0 you are on a practically record level as the lens gets to 82 lpmm there. Taking into account measurement errors, the images generated by the Olympus are as sensationally sharp like those of the Voigtlander 0.95/25 or the Panaleica 1.4/25.
I just received the lens from B&H and here is an HDR shot of it on my GH4 with Sony VG900 with 28-70mm FE OSS and Sony A7r with Sony Zeiss Sonnar T* FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA :
