GH3 Olympus lenses - stabilization?

I was very excited about the Oly 45mm 1.8 lens but it has no stabilization... Olympus has the stabilization in camera, Panny in lens. Is there any type of adapter on the market that allows for stabilization with Olympus lenses on the GH3?

Side question, is there a similar Panasonic lens that will deliver similar results?

i believe at the end of the year the 42.5mm 1.2 is coming out from Panny so that would include Stablization but im also sure its gonna cost you a pretty penny... What im looking and waiting for a possibly Metabones with electronic connections so i can use EF mounted glass and still have IS + a couple of other things...but im not sure yet if it can handle crop lenses or will it have to be FF glass only. So many things coming out but I gota wait...

I have the same lens and find it doesn't need stabilisation. Being a short fast prime I mainly use it as a portrait interview lens. Fast shutter, open aperture does the trick.

It can't be used handheld at all without stabilization. For interviews I can see it being perfect! Really love the look. Just a gorgeous lens.

It will likely be up in the Voightlander m4/3 price range, but I doubt it will have stabilization. Most of the Lumix prime lenses do not have stabilization, the only one I can think of that does is the 45mm Macro lens.

If you'll only choose lenses with IS then you're missing out on so much great glass! Legacy lenses (Canon FD, Nikon, etc.), modern manual lenses (SLRMagic, Voigtlander, etc.), and some of the best modern M4/3 primes available (Panasonic 25mm and 20mm, Olympus 45mm, etc.).

Instead of waiting for good glass with IS (never coming from Olympus which has some great lenses), get a small rig to help out with the microjitters when shooting handheld and you'll find that there's a whole new world of lens options now available to you. Wait, don't do that. Keep waiting for IS-capable lenses. Otherwise it'll be harder for me to find good glass ;)

It would be nice if we had more lens choices for handheld event work, which requires two key features - speed and OIS. I'd love to see more (and affordable) options for both zooms and primes with those two key features.

Even with Canon and Nikon lenses you won't find OIS paired with fast lenses, it's either one or the other, but never both.
